The future of LabZ is to fulfill dreams for young gifted minds to experience work as a precollege intern or gap year student in the STEM field. The summer training would allow curious minds to assist on experiments, put analytical gifts to practical tests, and to have showcases of work.
LabZers can expect hands-on training and laboratory work in the Bioengineering and other Sciences subfields and specialization. Enrollment beginning 2025.
Explorations can take the creative and gifted minds to many realms of inventiveness, including iterations and reinterpretations of ancient designs. Only projects that are of compelling and sustainable purposes are pursued at LabX.
Ecopac is an ongoing project in search of a strong product lifecycle of containers, packing material, and shipping solutions. We love that the world has become accessible through the e-commerce industry, but are looking to make it better by creating packaging and packing solutions less wasteful.
Nestcare was a problem we were asked to solve. The aging population today are not always retired households. Some families of empty nesters have aged working spouses. Caretaking then becomes shared amongst unpaid contributors: neighbors, children, and friends.
Unboxed was a solution previously solved. An MIT investor had wanted to establish supplementary energy to the households in New York State. We are putting together a dynamic company and business plan for a hiatus development project that will launch regionally, serving the US energy nationwide, with an iterative consumer friendly product and a municipal solution.
We are now accepting applications for qualified candidates to work with LabX and LabZ as Grant Managers and Gifts Administrators/Managers.
We're a small independent NGO with tax exempted status, and we're growing our resources to nurture our innovations. There's a RFP selection process for joining our lab roster, because our team is that small (if you are adept to the lab environment). We have floaters of PhD/Specialist talents that consult with us. If you or someone you know is looking for a semi-entry role to managerial opportunity in nonprofit: this would be it.
We spun off from a for-profit business to establish our non-profit laboratory and we have embraced our tax-exemption journey since 2018. The idea was to cultivate ideas, to pursue, without the noise and friction of meeting a bottom line or steering a topline. To adorn our white lab coats, seriously.
Great solutions and products often meet manufacturing or marketing issues. We imagined what it might be to exist outside of the different upstream and downstream conversations. To preserve great ideas to see completion of (at least) the version 1.0 are proofed.
We were taught to create the MVP and to rapidly deploy. In a software world, you know what is next: bugs. In a product world: refunds and recalls. We nerved it and took a step back. How about slow cooking a problem and see what interferences might co-create for us?
It's not a campaign or gimmick to reach sustainable goals. Good solutions are built to outlast the competition. Great solutions lead the innovative cycles for industry niches and whole industries. We are motivated to see durability in concepts and products.
We wanted products, services, and businesses that showcased sincere efforts to resolve pain points. We didn't want an excuse to resource multiple Friday projects for blogging or marketing. Instead, we wanted refining projects to speak for itself.
